Isfahan (IMNA) - "Isfahan has grown well in developing hotels. Regarding airport development, we as the representative of people in Islamic city council of Isfahan and the parliamentarian have put too much energy to develop the airport; more than 400 hectares of lands around the airport are supposed to be assigned to the airport space with the cooperation of the director general of Iran's airports, especially the efforts of the manager of Isfahan airport and the 8th Tactical Air Base in Isfahan," the representative of Isfahan in parliament said.
"On the development of tourism agencies in Iran, we are also trying to overcome the problems; the most important action in this regard is to turn the Tourism Organization into the Ministry of Tourism. If the tourism organization becomes a ministry, we will be one step closer to the aim of tourism development," he said.
Referring to the reduction of travel costs to Iran, he said "I think, among various countries, Iran is the cheapest destination. Due to the recent changes in the price of dollar in Iran, foreign tourists cannot believe the cheap prices; so, Iran can be an extraordinary destination for foreign tourists."
