Isfahan (IMNA) - “The month of January had been set as the deadline for sending works to this festival. The result of recent competition was announced last week and 7 Isfahani caricaturists included Jamaledin Etebarian, Hamed Bazrafkan, Payam Purfallah, Mansure Dehghan, Vahid Sharifi, Motahare Nasekhian and Mahnaz Yazdani succeeded to gain the permission of attending the exhibition of this festival,” the director of the caricature house of the art center of Isfahan Payam Pourfallah said.
“The international festival of World Press Cartoon of Portugal consists of 3 parts. The main parameter for attending the festival is that the works must be published in the press. Then the accepted artworks in 3 categories, including face caricature, thematic and journalistic caricature regarding current and international issues of the last year, as well as free topic works _non journalistic and news based_ will be examined,” Pourfallah said.
“Isfahani caricaturists in each 3 categories were admitted to attend the 13th competition of this festival. It is worth to mention that, the number of these art works in the "free category" was more than other categories.” the director of caricature house of the art field of Isfahan noted.
