Imam Ali Sq. stage for attracting tourists

The mayor of Isfahan along with some Councilmen paid an official visit to two great projects of Isfahan metropolis.

As IMNA reports quoting from Communication Bureau of Isfahan Municipality, the mayor made the visit to remove the obstacles in the way of the project execution and also to expedite the process.

On the sidelines of his visit to civil engineering projects, Ghodratollah Norouzi said the 4th ring road stands at the municipality’s top priority. He added: this ring road will, to some great extent, release the northern part of Isfahan from heavy traffic.  

He considered the 4th ring road as a great project, confirming: the completion of the project will lead Isfahan into a low-traffic city, in a way that heavy trucks are not allowed into this area.

Noting that the project has not met its completion yet, the mayor publicized: many sections of the project has so far been fully exploited, but some parts are still remained unfinished due to some reasons.

Norouzi claimed that the project will serve as one of the best projects of Isfahan, stressing that Imam Ali Square and its surrounding projects will transform into tourist attractions for the surrounding projects and enjoying over 70 historical sites, cultural heritage, old houses, and a quarter full of ancient treasures.  

Finally, he reminded that the public’s involvement and cooperation will affect the urban policy making to untie any knots.
