Nour-Salehi then announced that the entire line of the urban metro has progressed to 85 %. The 3rd phase, as said earlier, was experimentally launched today and will be fully exploited by mid-July, he added.
He further continued: The other stations will also be utilized till the end of the current Iranian year 1396 (mid-March). The next stations will be from Azadi Sq. to Sofeh passenger terminal, to finally complete the whole metro line 1, from Quds station to Defa-Moghadas station.
The second metro line of Isfahan is planned to be available in next 4 years i.e. the year 2021 (Iranian calendar year 1400).
