Isfahan has not flattened its coronavirus curve; however, some restrictions are starting to ease in the city. Subway operators are ramping up services to reflect travel restrictions being eased. Urban authorities warned a significant reduction in capacity on board to cope with social distancing regulations.

Iran (IMNA) - During pre-Covid, Isfahani commuters experienced “sardine can trains” where they only had standing room. Trains and platforms are usually packed during the peak-load commuting hours of early morning and afternoon.

Limiting passengers per train and practicing social distancing in platforms are easy preventive measures carrying out to curb the coronavirus that has been considered for long distance inter-regional travels.

If avoidance of touching surfaces in trains or buses is difficult to you, then maintain the recommended distance of 1.5 meters from your fellow travelers.
