Iran (IMNA) - Father’s Day is celebrated on 13th day of Rajab, the seventh month of the lunar calendar, marking the birth anniversary of the first Imam of Shia Muslims, Imam Ali (PBUH) to recognize and honor the tremendous contribution that fathers make to the lives of their children. They are who scarify themselves for family and ask for nothing in return. Although it is celebrated on various days worldwide, the common reason of honoring a day is that Father's Day is not about ordinary people, it is about special people like Fathers!
