Celebrating its 35th year in 2019, Harbin Ice Lantern Festival is known as one of the world's top winter festivals.
Iran (IMNA) - The festival has been inspired by Heilongjiang's traditional lanterns, which were carved out of ice and illuminated by candles. The highlights in this festival are the 340-meter-long Northern Lights-themed ice slides, an exquisite snow Buddha statue and a 3D light show.
If you are eager to attend the festival you have to wear layers and layers of winter clothes, multiple pairs of jackets, gloves, special socks, snow boots, headgear, and heating pads.
The Harbin Ice Festival runs till the end of February, depending on the weather.
