Iran (IMNA) - “Nowadays, urban environments need a tranquil atmosphere in order to convey pleasant feelings and serenity to citizens during daily traffic in the city. Actually, proper urban lightning is considered as an important factor in fostering the identity of a place,” Hossein Amiri said.
“Lightning has played a role of prime importance in vitality and tranquility of urban environments. In this sense, the presence of citizens in urban spaces would be strengthened as well. Moreover, water and fountains have always brought calmness and serenity to human psyche and reduce stress related problems,” Isfahan’s deputy mayor for urban services noted.
“Public water features in urban spaces symbolize rivers, springs and flowing streams in exquisite nature which present an eye-catching and dramatic view to modern urban area. One more advantage in utilising fountains is to prevent water from being wasted due to flowing in a closed circuit,” Amiri continued.
“The length of the Water and Light project is about 200 metres and 60 nozzles have been used in this project. The lightning of this project has been accomplished by LED lights with three main colours. In addition, the construction operations of the project, installation of nozzles and also electrical and mechanical equipment have been fulfilled and is in initial testing stage,” he remarked.
