"Narration of War Within the Heart of War" Book Written by a French Writer Unveiled

On the verge of Islamic Revolution Art Day and the 40th anniversary of start of Iran Sacred Defense a book titled "Narration of War Within the Heart of War " describing the documentaries made by Shahid (martyr) Morteza Avini was published by Farabi Cinema Foundation Publication and Vaheh Publication House.

Iran (IMNA) - The book has been written by Professor of French Sorbonne University Agnès Devictor and translated by Mohammad Mahdi Shakeri on the framework of cooperation made between Farabi Cinema Foundation and Irenology Association in France.

As per the trilateral agreement inked between Farabi Cinema Foundation, Iranology Association in France and Vahe Publishing House in three years ago, the book was translated and unveiled in on April 8 (Farvardin 20) the martyrdom anniversary of Avini.

The Vaheh Publishing House has cooperated in this project to fill the blanks of methodological research on the cinematic works and writings of Avini.
The book has four chapters including: War According to Fiction Cinema, Making Film from a Revolution in the Eyes of Something, In the Middle of Visible and the Invisible – War Documentary as a Mystical Ritual, " which provides the readers with different contents.

Born in 1971, she is a graduate student of Adaptive Political Science and holds a PhD in Cultural Policy from the Islamic Republic of Iran. She has been a graduate professor at the University of Avignon and has been teaching cinema history and art history at the Sorbonne since 2011.

In addition to research activities and participation in various cultural programs, she has written book on the images of warriors and martyrs of the imposed war in cinema and the "Narration of War Within the Heart of War " has been selected to be published in Iran.

The preface to the book states: In the history of cinema, it has become commonplace for a war that takes place outside cinema halls to take place in the form of a feature film.
The book seeks to examine the content of these films and the conditions under which they were made, from the time of filming to the interpretation of the event, to show how these films are a valuable resource for participating in the history of the war and the world history of war cinema.
