5 documentaries displayed in "Earth Cancer" section of Slemani International Film Festival

At least five documentary features were displayed in the "Earth Cancer" section of the 4th edition of Slemani International Film Festival in Sulaymaniyah, Iraqi Kurdistan.

Iran (IMNA) - The films which were displayed in this sections are "Chasing Coral " directed by Jeff Orlowski from the US, "An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power" jointly directed by Jon Shenk and Bonni Cohen from US, "Climate Warriors" directed by Carl-A. Fechner and  Nicolai Niemann from Germany, Belgium and the US,  "Ice on Fire" directed by Leila Conners a joint production  from US, Costa Rica , Croatia, France and Germany, "Wonders of the Sea" jointly produced by Jean-Michel Cousteau and Jean-Jacques Mantello from US and France.

 Presided by Fuad Jalal, the festival was organized by Masti Film Company and Mullah Bakhtiar the official in charge of supporting the festival, Fuad Jalal, Festival Manger and head of Masti Film Company, Danar Omar Fares, Artistic Director Festival, Lina Raza, Program Director of the Festival and a number of prominent artists.

At least 134 films from 79 countries, especially the production of 2018 and 2019, in two sections including the World Cinema Competition (International); comprising feature and short films; documentary, animated and experimental, and the Kurdish Cinema (national) comprising feature and short works; documentary, animation and experimental will attend this international cinematic event.
