Isfahan; Iran's age friendly city

Statistics show that by 2050, that number of senior citizens across the world will cover 21.5 percent of the global population.

Isfahan (IMNA) - We all know that experiences people have later in their life fluctuate greatly depending on where they live. Access to public transportation, social freedom, income security, employment status and education levels as well as health status are the main factors that impact the way people live and get old.

The social and physical structures of Isfahan have been appropriated to deal with the universal phenomenon of aging as the city officials try to preserve the dignity and the autonomy of older people.
