Isfahan to host Finnish Film Week

The first ever Finnish Film Week is to be held in three Iranian cities of Tehran, Isfahan and Mashhad in collaboration with Finnish Film Foundation, the Embassy of the Republic of Finland and the ‘Art and Experience’ cinematic group.

Iran (IMNA) - City Center Complex of Isfahan, Naseri Hall of Iranian Artists' House in Tehran and Hoveizeh Cinema Campus of Mashhad will host the first-ever week-long film event from September 28th to October 4th.

The event includes the screening of nine Finnish features and seven short films. The CEO of the Finnish Film Foundation Lasse Saarinen, Jaana Puskala, responsible for the international promotion and the cultural export project support for feature films, as well as a Finnish filmmaker and a producer will be among the special guests in this event.

Three workshops focusing on film-making will be taking place on the sidelines of the film week by the presence of Iranian and Finnish filmmakers.
