Iran (IMNA) - Several Iranian representatives from Farabi Cinema Foundation (FCF), Fajr International Film Festival, International Film Festival for Children and Youth, Persia Film Distribution, , AI Film Pro, Irimage, Eli Image, Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, the Seventh Art as well as the First Art were attending in the market section of this international prestigious event.
At the first days of the event, several booklets which was compiled by Farabi Cinema Foundation, introducing the top Iranian cinema works in 2019, was presented during the event.
Farabi Cinema Foundation's representatives also held talks with executive director of the Cannes Film Market, Jerome Paillard, and the head of sales and operations of the market, Maud Amson Jérome Paillard, executive director of Cannes Marché du Film on boosting mutual collaboration.
While in Cannes, the FCF representatives also held talks with officials and representatives of several festivals including São Paulo International Film Festival, Giffoni International Film Festival, the Chicago Film Festival, Palm Springs, Head of Estonia's Tallinn's Film Festival, Tokyo Film Festival, China Tiger Film Company, the representatives of the Valo Doley Film Festival, the Iranian film distributors in China, the Hatung Company, the Culture & Westman Holding Company, the Doha Film Center, film companies in charge of purchasing films for airline companies, the Shingles Children Film Festival, Sain Kid, the Venice Film Festival and Film Market, the Berlin Film Festival and Film Market, the Moscow Film Festival, the Lokarno Film Festival, and the producers from Spain and Pakistan.
Concurrent with the 72nd Cannes Film Festival, the 60th anniversary of Cannes Film Market took place from 14 to 25 May 2019 in France.
