Iran-Pakistan Film Co-production Project

In a meeting, the managing director of Farabi Cinema Foundation and Pakistan Ambassador in Iran talked about increasing and developing the collaborations between the two countries in the cultural and cinematic fields.

Iran (IMNA) - According to ICN quoted from FCF public relations Dept., Alireza Tabesh, the managing director of Farabi Cinema Foundation, met with Riffat Masood, the Ambassador of Pakistan in Iran.

Tabesh began with recounting the most important activities of the foundation in 35 years, and said: “The shared historical, cultural and religious roots of the two countries create great and suitable opportunities for further cultural and cinematic ties.”

Then, Riffat Masood expressed her content of the presented opportunity and said: “Films and series are the perfect chance for talking about the problems of the society. Present Pakistan is completely analyzable and recognizable due to its art and culture. We should make it possible to release Iranian films in Pakistan, and vice versa.”
