Persian Miniature is registered in the Iran's intangible cultural heritage list, at the meeting of national register committee of intangible cultural heritage.

Iran (IMNA) – The name of four artists, Bijan Kamkar who is Rubab player, Ali Mohammad Etebari Rudi as the last person who has the traditional knowledge of building windmills, Ali Akbar Bahari, the master of playing Kurdish Surna in Khorasan, and Mahmood Farshchian, the master of miniature painting have been registered in the list of Living Human Treasures, as the carriers of cultural heritage.

40 cases have been presented from Khorasan Razavi, East Azarbaijan, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad provinces. Of those, 20 intangible heritage cases, and four artists as the living human carriers have been chosen to register in the intangible cultural heritage list.
