Isfahan (IMNA) – "According to the instructions, it was supposed to select the best researcher of the province; in comparison to the last year, the increase in the number of articles making the choice harder than ever," Mahdi Momeni said.
"Therefore, it was agreed between Isfahan governor council and the deputy minister of science that Isfahan can change this approach by considering the variety and diversity of the universities and its scientific credit," he continued.
"Different task forces in different fields of humanities, basic science, engineering sciences, agriculture, art, architecture and urbanization, medical science, research centers, executive organizations, and students task force were monitored in order to select the best researcher," he noted.
Announcing the holding of 19th exhibition of Research Week on 27 and 28 December coincidence with Sheikh Bahaee festival, he said, "Coincides with this festival, 19th festival of research scientists and technologists will be celebrated in the City Center."
"The number of published research articles of engineering and basic science of Isfahan University has increased by 22 percent and issued papers in invalid journals has decreased by 20 percent," he added.
Saying that the statistics of domestic patents has been enhanced by 10 percent in comparison to the last year, he said, "Isfahan University has provided 1,492 articles in different majors this year."
