Isfahan (IMNA) - By considering the historical, cultural monuments and many other tourist attractions, Iran is among the 10 best countries in UNESCO, but it has not been able to take advantage of this opportunity to host foreign tourists yet. Also, Iran has potential of promoting tourism internationally because of its historical attractions, civilization heritage, natural ecosystem, nature tourism, and ecotourism, but it has not been succeeded in providing a coherent and efficient program to attract foreign tourists, which is a big problem itself.
Handicrafts, historical sites, Persian arts and figures can bring high level of income and profit for the country as they are our national resources and capitals. Iran should make known its tourism potential to the world by holding seminars and cultural celebrations and introducing its historical sites and buildings in the target countries, so that these potentials can be used in line with national interests.
