Isfahan (IMNA) – Saying that the quality of services has been improved in the bike share stations, and different kinds of bicycles (normal and modern) will be offered to citizens, Shahram Reisi added, "The cost of renting bikes is affordable for all citizens."
"The bike stations have been inactivated for a long time, and they didn’t make any economic sense for the municipality due to the high imposed cost; therefore, the only way to reactivate them was taking advantage of the private sector capacities. In this regard, investment & public participation department of Isfahan municipality has allocated the bike stations management to the private sector in the form of a call, with the cooperation of the deputy of transport and traffic department of Isfahan municipality," he said.
Pointing out that increasing the participation and using the capabilities of private sectors are considered as the most important approaches of Isfahan municipality, he noted, "Investment projects will be offered at different intervals. Also related information should be accessible to attract more investors."
