8 Air Quality Monitoring Stations installed in Isfahan

"We won't have any problems regarding measuring the amount of pollutants in Isfahan by adding eight new Air Quality Monitoring Station," the head of laboratories of the General Directorate for Environmental Protection of Isfahan said.

Isfahan (IMNA) – Saying that the server of the General Directorate for Environmental Protection of Isfahan was disconnected during the last three days, and it was impossible to load the information related to the index rate of the existing pollution in Isfahan's air, Babak Sadeghian said, "The monitoring stations have been active in the recent three days, and have measured the rate of pollutants based on the Air Quality Index (AQI) constantly."

"The information of pollution index rate is always received through the internet, and uploaded on the site of General Directorate for Environmental Protection of Isfahan," he added. Pointing out that fortunately and with the cooperation of the municipality, Isfahan won't face any problem regarding the lack of stations, he continued, "There were 7 stations in the city, and Isfahan municipality has added 8 more stations that will send the information on the centralized system."
