"Today, all cities need to innovate to survive, and the municipalities are no exception," the member of Isfahan Islamic city council said.

Isfahan (IMNA) – "The fifth city council of Isfahan has put the innovative plans and startup-based entrepreneurship supports on the agenda," Mahdi Moghadari said. Pointing to the increasing support of Isfahan city council of the startups, he said, "One of the mottos of the city council is supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem and startups. We are building the necessary infrastructure to enhance the growth of startups since it is the future maker matter."

Referring to the carried out measures of the municipality, Moghadari said, "At the moment, the municipality is creating a co-working space with the participation of the private sector in one of the spaces in the ownership of Isfahan municipality. The private sector executive will be selected with a bidding event. The municipality considers other supportive plans to develop and provide sufficient infrastructure for startups and creative ideas."   

Pointing to the advantages of these start-ups, he said, "Being closely related to the city's needs such as water shortage, green space protection and transportation and traffic, startups bring positive effects to the society".

"The municipality supports the creative ideas with the purpose of improving the current situation to remove the city's bottlenecks," he noted.
