The legacy of the past is not merely gold and jewel; In this museum it has been tried to familiarize people with the value of water by collecting, keeping, and showing the works related to water like its finding, transferring, distributing, and exploiting operations.
There are 5 vitrines in the southern side of the museum, two vitrines in the external entrance, and also two in the internal entrance which display the facilities related to water. Five maquettes of Rudasht dam, water facilities in Chehelsotoun and Fin garden, Isfahan water treatment plant, and the Zayande-Rood tributaries in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari are displayed in the entrance and the middle side of the museum.
Also eleven paintings and photographs of the dams and bridges of Zayande-rood were placed on the southern and northern walls. Small gathering hall is also situated at the end of the eastern main hall with the capacity of 20 people. There is a big electronic board that shows the path of Zayandeh-Rood and also the cities and villages on its way. Four old paper based documents related to Isfahan water rights are also available in the water museum.
