Isfahan's climatic condition in danger

Expressing that Isfahan's climatic condition is in danger, the mayor of Isfahan said, "It's necessary to form a Board of Trustees in relation to environmental issues to convene all the authorities; of course, we can also benefit from NGOs supports since they are very interested in cooperating in this field.”

Isfahan (IMNA) - Emphasizing that having healthy environment is one of the human rights, Qodratollah Nowroozi said, "The 50th rule of the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran indicates that if any economic development leads to environmental degradations, shall be deal with it according to the rules. I am very glad of being among people who take care of such important topics because paying no attention to these issues, will endanger human life."
 

"To benefit the next generation, the sustainable development should be in a harmony with the present time and the future as well. Today's serious issue is how to preserve green spaces, especially in a city like Isfahan which has 8500 active industrial units with only 5000 hectares of green space,"Noroozi said.
 

"Today, the city climate is in danger; if we do not provide a solution to preserve the green space, people’s lives will be threatened. Eve drying a pine tree can causes depression all over the city," the mayor of Isfahan stressed.
