Isfahan to Host Exhibition of Tony Cragg’s Artworks

.The exhibition, a British artist named "rocks and roots,"was held in Isfahan Contemporary Art Museum

According to IMNA, the Isfahan Museum of Contemporary Art has unveiled an exhibition named "Tony Cragg: Roots & ston" for two months.

Tony Cragg is the first British artist invited to Iran for holding an exhibition of his works. He was in Iran to display his artworks at Tehran Museum of Contemporary Arts (TMoCA) in an exhibition which were be displayed to visitors from 24 October 2017 to 12 January 2018. after that, some of his artworks has been displayed at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Isfahan and then will be gone to Kerman.

Tony Cragg is one of the world’s foremost sculptors. Constantly pushing to find new relations between people and the material world, there is no limit to the materials he might use, as there are no limits to the ideas or forms he might conceive. He is one of the most important contemporary sculptors who was born in Liverpool in 1949. Cragg’s works are characterized by tireless research on the possibilities of form, material and surface design.

The enthusiasts, can visit the Museum of Contemporary Art in Isfahan to see the artist's work by April 24th.
