The Asseman Airlines' passenger plane crashed in the Kohangan Village near the Padena region, 120 Km from Semirom in Isfahan Province

According to IMNA, An Iranian passenger plane which crashed yesterday morning had hit Dena Mountains. This plane, belonging to the Asseman Airlines had 66 people on board including 60 passengers, 2 flight attendants and pilots and 2 security forces.

Aseman Airlines flight 3705, en route from Tehran to the southern city of Yasuj. The plane left Tehran's Mehrabad International Airport at 5:00 local time (1:30 GMT) and disappeared from radar screens after a while.

Meanwhile, 20 operational teams from three provinces have been dispatched, there is still no information from the exact location of the plane's crash, and all searches have so far been based on probabilities.

The rescue helicopters are on alert but bad weather conditions is hampering the rescue operation. Rescue teams started the second day of searching for the remains of the plane which crashed.

Also, Head of Iran's Civil Aviation Organization public relations office Reza Jafarzadeh told that a seven-member delegation from France is to arrive in Tehran tonight to examine the reason behind the crash of the ATR passenger plane.
