'Imam Hossein', 'Inqelab' Metro Stations to be equipped by yearend

Isfahan Mayor's Chief Advisor, Javad Sherbaf, referred to the completion trend of stations at 1st metro line, and announced the full completion of the two stations namely as 'Imam Hossein' and 'Inqelab' by the upcoming yearend.

The chief advisor also pointed to the difficulty of this project execution, adding: 'Inqelab' station was facing a number of problems such as traffic, blocking 'Chahar-Bagh Abbasi Avenue, cutting off the trees on Chahar-Bagh Ave., and the historical cobblestone of Chahar-Bagh Abbasi Ave. He accordingly continued that the mentioned obstacles led to some archeologic proceedings in order to satisfy the cultural heritage concerns on the issue.

"Matters of cultural heritage, archeology, and preserving the historical canal were of high significance, taken into great consideration by the municipality", Sherbaf explained.

He finally reminded that Isfahan metro personnel are doing their best to fulfil the mayor's promise to make the whole first line available for citizens by the end of the current year.
