Isfahan among Iran’s cleanest cities

Vice President of Iran for Women and Family Affairs said: due to the efforts of the 11th government (Rouhani’s 1st tenure), now Isfahan is considered among the cleanest cities of Iran in terms of weather.

About cutting air pollution in the city of Isfahan, Masoumeh Ebtekar expressed that the serious efforts of 11th Government such as fuel modification at power plants and Euro fuel distribution have all been reasons to have clean air in the city today, she made the remarks at her visit to IMNA pavilion at the 23rd Press Exhibition.   

Pointing to the climate change and population growth, Ebtekar added: reforming consumption patterns is the last resort to alleviate drought. She continued: the county’s water supply is decreasing and we have no more solutions except for revising the cultivation and consumption patterns.
