Tonight, Moon and Venus closest

Thursday evening, 18th of October 2017, the moon and the Venus will stand at their nearest position, passing by one another. They reach at the shortest distance of 2 degrees, creating the constellation named Comet.

According to an IMNA report, this event will be visible from 4:30’ a.m. on Thursday. But the observation will be to some extent difficult because they reach the highest height of about 15 degrees; although people have a deadline of an hour and 37 minutes before the sunrise to observe it. The Comet is visible to the naked eye or binoculars.

Moon will be at its 28-day-old, close to which the Venus will be shining magnificently.

Enjoy the event and recommend you friends not miss that.
