Switzerland ready to broaden tourism cooperation with Iran

Director General for the Middle East region and North Africa at the Switzerland's foreign ministry Wolfgang Amadeus Bruelhart said on Monday that Switzerland is ready to broaden scientific and cultural cooperation with the city of Isfahan.

He said in a meeting with Isfahan Governor General Rasoul Zargarpour on Monday.

Given 7,000 years of history, Amadeus Bruelhart voiced eagerness to broaden scope of cooperation with various cultural sectors in the province.

'Switzerland is very experienced in various scientific fields and can broaden cooperation with Isfahan in many sectors,' he said. 

There are many artists in Switzerland who mind to take advantage of knowledge and experiences of artists in Isfahan and Switzerland and the two sides can swap artists, he said. 

In a meeting between the two sides presidents, it was agreed that the two countries to help broaden relations and cooperation in various sectors, said the German envoy. 

Isfahan governor general, for his part, said after the mplementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the visit of Switzerland president to Iran, grounds are well-prepared to broaden political, economic and cultural cooperation between the two sides.

'Global and regional conditions call for the expansion of relations and cooperation between the two sides,' Zargarpour said.
