Persian becomes 2nd foreign language at Spain Salamanca University

Persian language is taught as the second foreign language of the Linguistics students at Salamanca University of Spain, IRNA reported.

The program is being implemented following a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed for cooperation with Saadi Foundation.

More than 20 students are currently taking the course.

Salamanca Universit is a state university in the western Spanish city of the same name. The university is the oldest in Spain and the third oldest among all the European universities.

Over 32,000 students are enrolled every year at the university.
