Iran Wins Bronze at FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour

Iran defeated Morocco to win the first ever medal in the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour.

The Iranian duo Bahman Salemi and Rahman Raoufi defeated Morocco 2-1 (19-21, 21-19, 16-14) at the Agadir, Morocco and won the bronze medal.

France’s Youssef Krou and Quincy Aye claimed the title, beating Qatar’s Julio Cesar Do Nascimento Junior and Ahmed Tijan 2-0 (21-18, 21-14).

The FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour is the worldwide professional beach volleyball tour for both men and women organized by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB).

 The World Tour was introduced for men in 1989 while the women first competed in 1992.
