Iranian photographer presents his gold medal to President Rouhani

Iranian photographer Mohammad Ali Berno, who received the gold medal at the Paris Photography Awards for his 'Mr. President' photo collection, offered his award to Iran's President Hassan Rouhani.

He presented the award to the president during Rouhani's meeting with media officials in Tehran on June 14, IRNA reported.

Berno participated in the competition's press/political section with a collection of portraits of Iran's president.

The 'Prix de la Photographie, Paris' (P×3) strives to promote the appreciation of photography, to discover emerging talent, and to introduce photographers from around the world to the artistic community of Paris.

Winning photographs from this competition are exhibited in a gallery in Paris and published in the high-quality, P×3 Annual Book of Photography.

The Paris Photography Awards was originally conceived by Hossein Farmani, Anousheh Barbezieux and Anne Lagerberg in June of 2004 in Paris. The logo was designed by Funda Çakır Mehter.
