Iran's participation in KOTFA 2017 successful

Two Iranian representatives took part in the 32nd Korea World Travel Fair (KOTFA).

Iran Tour and Travel Agency and Haniran Tour Agency participated at the Korean fair in which the latter won the honor as the top pavilion, IRNA reported.

The two agencies presented books, brochures, posters, cultural goods and handicrafts to introduce Iran's tourist attractions.

A total of 800 companies and organizations from 60 countries took part in the festival which was held from June 1 to 4 at COEX, Seoul.

Iran's Ambassador to South Korea Hassan Taherian, who attended the fair, said that direct Tehran- Seoul flights will be launched soon to pave the way for further tourism ties between the two countries.

The Korea World Travel Fair (KOTFA), with a history of 32 years, is the largest international travel fair in South Korea.

KOTFA is the only international travel fair in South Korea in which the official tourism organizations from home and abroad participate.

It supports the strengthening of competitiveness of the tourism industry in Korea by combining inbound, outbound and intrabound tourism together and providing a market place for mutual relationship among tourism businesses at home and abroad.

KOTFA is constantly pursuing public concerns by providing numerous benefits to enable developing countries to participate in the fair and expanding international ties.

It is dedicated to sound tourism for South Korean travelers by presenting information on domestic and foreign tourism attractions.
