Iran holds cultural week in Istanbul

Iran’s Cultural Week kicked off in Istanbul on Saturday.

Iranian arts and culture in various fields are to be demonstrated in Istanbul Cultural Week to publicize the country’s deep culture.

The event is held with the contribution of Iran's cultural attaché in Istanbul, a local municipality district in Istanbul and general office of the cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism of Ardebil province.

Iran’s Cultural Attaché Abdolreza Rashed said there are many historical and cultural commonalities between Iran and Turkey and setting up such cultural exhibition can help promote cultural contribution between the two countries. 

Screening of Iranian movies, live music and setting of a gathering theme “Cultural and historical communications between Iran and Turkey” are among the cultural event plan.
