Iran (IMNA) – Anadolu Agency reported that 1,077,979 tourists have visited Istanbul in December, 2018, and this number has been increased by 21.3% in comparison to 2017. According to this report, most of Istanbul's foreign tourists were Germans as 71,634 German tourists visited Istanbul in 2018.
After that, the largest number of Istanbul's foreign tourists were Iranians, Saudians, Russians, and Iraqis, respectively. The number of transit passengers through Istanbul has been reported to be 9,606,401 as well.
