Libraries are not only places to present information and resources, but also they are considered as the cultural, artistic, and social bases," Mohammad Reza Keshani said.
"The central Library of Isfahan municipality is one of the biggest public libraries of the country and the largest multimedia one in Isfahan that meets the citizens' needs. It follows different approaches as well; for example, due to the high potential of this place in creative tourism industry, the plan of library tourism which is the subset of cultural tourism will be launched this Nowrouz," he added.
Pointing to the advantages of this plan, he noted, "It is predicted that through this plan, tourists visit and enjoy all the artistic and cultural dimensions of Iran's civilization in different forms of virtual tours, illustrated books, exhibitions, and etc. Nowadays, cultural tourism is one of the best ways to recognize the interdependence of nations' culture. On the other hand, revenue generation via tourism industry is of great importance."
