Children's City Council to be established in Isfahan

"The children's City Council will be formally established in Isfahan as soon as possible, with the management of creative children," the head of Isfahan's Social Commission of Islamic City Council said.

Iran (IMNA) – "We will consider a specific hall for the Children's City Council; their activities and decisions in this council will be certainly of great importance," Kourosh Mohammadi said. "The instructions related to the Children's City Council have been mentioned in the regulation of the Ministry of Interior," he added.

Expressing sorrow that children are besieged in a world that comes from our own minds, he noted, "We should see children in their real places, and child-friendly city must not be a short-term project, but it needs to remain in the heart of the city."

Saying that we have a long way to meet the requirements of a child-friendly city, he emphasized, "The fifth council is trying to fulfill the goal of creating a child-friendly city, and has propounded a centralized budget in 2019."

"The future of urban management is in the hands of children, so, if natural, legal, and social persons are defined in this regard, we will arrive to witnesses the coming of a creative generation in our society," he continued.

Pointing out that streets and parks of the city are not still safe for children, and don’t meet their basic needs, he also added, "The urban management is trying to keep the city no longer a place for holding conference or seminar, but help it to be become dynamic in order to change into a child-friendly city."
