Iran (IMNA) – "Municipalities should present new doctrine and apply new methods of managements and also modern technologies to govern the cities," Mahdi Jamali Nezhad said. Saying that the principle of working hard is important, he added, "At the time that the government is facing financial constraints, cities can be managed properly only by relying on the available capacities, as long as we use the new management approaches, welcome new thoughts and ideas, and avoid thinking about urban management through the government's credits."
Referring to the current government's financial constraints, he said, "It is necessary that municipalities recognize the urban competitive advantages regarding attracting investors, creating sustainable income, job creation, and entrepreneurship."
"Fortunately, cities and rural areas of our country have unique attractions to make money, especially in the tourism field, but this matter will not be realized by using old management approaches; so, new creative-thinking should be applied by municipalities and Dehyaris," he also said.
