"By establishing local restaurants that offer various domestic and foreign food menus, we can develop tourism industry and diversify our products," an expert of tourism economics said.

Isfahan (IMNA) – "Particularly, food menu for some nations is very special, and we cannot force them to eat a certain kind of food; one important point in tourism industry is providing various kinds of dishes and not limiting them to a particular menu," Mohammad Zahedi said. "Different restaurants that provide culture specific foods are of great importance to attract tourists and develop tourism industry," he added.

Pointing to local foods as one of the attractions of tourism destinations, he continued, "The purpose behind the trip of foreign tourists to Iran is to understand the differences as many of them care about eating local food of different regions."

Saying that diversification of food products will attract more tourists, he noted, "The opportunity of foreign tourists' enjoyment from local food is considered as an advantage for food tourism industry, it makes them enjoy the local foods of Isfahan and special foods of various nations as well."
