60-seconds short film festival of Isfahan

The first 60-seconds short film festival of Isfahan has been held since this October and will last to the next April; the purpose of this fest is putting various aspects and views together about Isfahan.

Isfahan (IMNA) – The first 60-seconds short film festival of Isfahan has been started since November 14 with the cooperation of Isfahan municipality. This festival will be continued until next April. "People can participate in this festival by uploading their 1-minute films to Aparat," the director of the festival said regarding the details of the festival.

"The festival will be juried in 2 parts; the first part is the public votes which will be registered on the site, and the second part is the 5-member jury committee who will choose 5 films as the best films in April," Farid Salavati said.

Pointing to the goals of this festival, he said, "Isfahan does not only have the Zayandeh-Rood River, Si-o-Se Pol and Khajoo Bridges, there are many attractions  in Isfahan. We want everyone, even the foreign tourists to show their films about Isfahan from different aspects, even those people who start a business in different fields such as handicrafts or café in Isfahan can advertise their work, and also display a new perspective of the city."

Enthusiasts can upload their films at www.aparat.com/esfahan. The closing ceremony of this festival will be held in April, and the selected films will be introduced.
