Isfahan (IMNA) – "Town planning commemoration week will be held in universities throughout the city and the central library of the municipality, on November 22 to 29, focusing on the social mission of the urban planners," the head of Department of Urban Studies and Planning of the municipality of Isfahan said.
"The programs of the town planning commemoration week include holding a special workshop regarding the research methods for architecture and urban planning, special workshop to investigate the role of creativity in solving the urban issues, photo contest, talking with graduates of urban planning major, and displaying the best works of urbanism in Isfahan universities," Faryad Parhiz said.
"The town planning commemoration week will be held with the presence of Iranian prominent professors of architecture and urban planning, Ghodratollah Nowrouzi, the mayor of Isfahan metropolis, Fereydoon Allahyari, the head for Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Isfahan province, the head of the faculty of urban planning and architecture of science and technology university, Isfahan deputy mayor for architecture and urban planning, the head of urban planning engineers' community, and urban authorities, along with various contests and workshops," he continued.
