Isfahan (IMNA) – "The Ta'Ziyeh Khani ritual is being held in Azam Hosseiniyeh of Dehaghan County with the cooperation of the planning council of Ta'Ziyeh and ritual arts," the head of culture and Islamic guidance department of Dehaghan County said. "Ta'Ziyeh singers from Felavarjan and Mobarakeh counties along with some groups from Dehaghan and Golshan participate in the Ta'Ziyeh Khani ritual," Saeed Tabibian added.
Saying that this ritual with the title of "The sun on the spear", is being held in this county for the fifth successive year, he said, "The purposes of holding this ritual are making known the goals of Karbala uprising, praying on time, promotion of virtue and prevention of vice, promoting the culture of Ashura, and conveying the message of Imam Hossein's soldiers to the next generations."
Announcing the participation of one hundred Ta'Ziye Khans in this traditional ritual, Tabibian continued, "The best Ta'Ziyeh groups and Pir Gholaman-e Hosseini will be honored at the end of this ritual. It is tried to use the combination of the dramatic arts, theater, and Shabih-Khani (Lamentation) in Ta'Ziyeh-Khani, and the old style is also revived and preserved."
