Isfahan (IMNA) - Emphasizing that Iranian valuable historical monuments are mostly located in desert and wilderness areas, plains, and fields, Mohsen Javeri said, "The main materials of the historical buildings are adobe, clay, woods, and straw which are considered as a suitable food source for the biological deleterious factors." Stating that termite is one of the factors that caused the greatest damage to the historical monuments, he added, "Baiting in the global complex of Fin garden was carried out by the cooperation of the research and biological factors controlling department of Yazd cultural heritage organization."
"Baiting in the global complex of Fin garden was carried out this August in the form of 160 specified station, above-ground and below ground stations to investigate the location of housing this pest in this building and the surrounding green space and also to control them," he said. The historical Fin garden of Kashan with an area of 23,700 square meters is located near the Soleymanie spring. It is registered in the list of Iranian national heritage in 1935, and registered globally in UNESCO World Heritage List in 2011.
