Chaharbagh Avenue; harmony between tradition and modernity

"Concerning the business prosperity existed in Chaharbagh area, it is necessary to create a harmony between tradition and modernity in order to take advantages of the positive consequences of turning this area into a pavement," an architectural expert said.

Isfahan (IMNA) – "From every direction we enter to Isfahan, we will finally reach to Chaharbagh Avenue; this feature shows the necessity of paying attention to this historical texture," Jamshid Hodaie said. Stating that Chaharbagh Abbasi Avenue is the entire city image of Isfahan, he added, "In the past, the traffic load in this area was mostly driven by bicycles or passers, but now Chaharbagh Avenue has turned into a roadway by urban development and increasing the vehicle facilities."

Saying that preserving and improving Chaharbagh Avenue appearance depends on turning this area into a pavement, this architectural expert said, "Undoubtedly, turning this historical texture into a pavement, where the urban development of Isfahan is laced with it, is a worthwhile and admirable action."

Pointing to turning  the Chaharbagh Abbasi area into a pavement, Hodaie continued, "The construction of Chaharbagh Abbasi pavement causes the revival of the historical textures and prevents this area of being worn-out." Referring to the role of people and their support in preserving the historical textures, he said, "The people's welcoming and cooperation regarding turning historical textures into pavements can help us to maintain the history of beautiful Isfahan."
