Charity Services Centers to develop in Isfahan

"58 Charity Services Centers are active in Isfahan and increasing the number of these centers is on the agenda," the director general of Isfahan Imam Khomeini Relief Committee said.

Isfahan (IMNA) – stating that 58 Charity Services Centers are active in Isfahan, Mohammad Reza Matin said, "These centers are active under the supervision of Isfahan's Imam Khomeini Relief Committee with a self-regulating structure to facilitate the identification of the real needy people throughout the city. This committee aims at increasing the accuracy and efficiency of the fundraisings distribution, and providing cash and non-cash supportive services in the shortest time."

Announcing that the amount of fundraising collected by Isfahan Charity Services Centers during the first 3 months of this year was more than 2 billion and 500 million toman, he said, "This amount of fundraising as alms, Zakat, direct aids, basket of goods have been collected by Isfahani benefactors according to the needs of poor people under the supervision of Imam Khomeini Relief Committee."

Pointing to the plan of the committee to develop these centers, Mohammad Reza Matin said, "This year, 56 Charity Services Centers will be activated." Stating that most Charity Services Centers have been often formed in the mosques, under the supervision of the imams of the congregational prayer or the city's Friday prayer Imam, he said, "Mosques are the buildings that are located everywhere throughout the province; they can be utilized to help the needy people more and more by organizing, encouraging, and supporting the local activists in the field of charity and beneficence."
