Watch longest lunar eclipse of century at Naqsh-e-Jahan Square

On July 27th, an important eclipse occurs in which its total phases are visible in Iran. In Isfahan, also, people can watch the total lunar eclipse at Naqsh-e-Jahan Square by the help of the astronomy experts.

Isfahan (IMNA) - The eclipse of July 27th is visible in northern hemisphere and people in some zones including Asia, Europe, and even some regions of Australia and Africa can watch this phenomenon. All of the phases of eclipse are visible in Iran and Isfahan. Astronomy experts at Naqsh-e-Jahan Square are prepared to observe it and answer interested people’s questions till a part of night.

The total lunar eclipse occurs at 21:44’:49”; the shadow of Earth will fall on the moon face and the moon enters the penumbra phases.  The total eclipse will initiate from 00:00. The peak of the eclipse is at 00:51 A.M; the peak of the eclipse lasts for 6 hours and 13 minutes and full eclipse lasts for 1 hour, 42 minutes, and 57 seconds.
