Naghmeh Isfahan Music Band shined in International Europe Folklore Music Festival

Naghmeh Isfahan Music Band received the award of 12th edition of International Europe Folklore Music Festival.

Isfahan (IMNA) - This festival was held from June 24 to July 3 in Kalka city of Spain with the presence of 18 bands from European countries and also "Naghmeh Isfahan music band" on the behalf of Iran. "This is for the second time that Naghmeh Isfahan music group received the Superior Band Award and the Honorary Diploma from the International Europe Folklore Music Festival," the head of music band of Naghmeh in Isfahan told IMNA reporter.


Pointing to the participating countries in the festival, Masoud Ehtemad said: "The countries of Norway, Sweden, Bolivia, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Indonesia, Armenia, and Iran were participated in the festival as the elected folklore bands from Europe, South America and Asia."  Saying that this festival was held with the collaboration of UNESCO and European Association of Folklore Festival (EAFF), he said: "Naghmeh Isfahan music band performed as the only cultural representative of Iran in the festival."
 

"Enjoying more than 20 years of experience, Naghmeh Isfahan music group has performed various traditional songs in languages of different regions in Iran such as; Lori, Kurdish, Azari, Bakhtiari, Gilaki, and Mazandarani in different countries such as Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, South Africa, Morocco, Sweden, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Tajikistan, Portugal, Poland, and Bulgaria," Ehtemam added.
