Singapore ready to invest in Isfahan

“Singapore is interested in communication and investment in Isfahan, and if Isfahan provides a comprehensive feasibility plan, Singaporean investors will cooperate with Isfahan,” the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Singapore said.

Isfahan (IMNA) - “Singapore has experienced great changes, and today it becomes the serious rival of Japan and developed countries,” Javad Ansari said in the meeting with the mayor of Isfahan. How a country without any drop of oil could have the largest refinery in the world?” he said.

“Every two years in Singapore, the world metropolitan conference, the environmental sustainability conference, and the water conference are held. All of them are the most important issues of today’s world. Isfahan has been actively involved in these events but it should take more advantage of this opportunity to find the best solutions and partnership models,” Ansari continued.

“Now Isfahan has a sisterhood relationship with 14 cities of the world; this sisterhood relationship can solve many problems. During the cultural week of Isfahan in Paris, this urban diplomacy was somehow met. A city in France, that its inhabitants are Armenians, signed a treaty of friendship with the Jolfa district in Isfahan. Also, the adequate context of holding cultural week of Paris  in Isfahan was provided,” Ghodratollah Nowrouzi said.

Stating that he had meeting with the mayors of different cities in Poland, and providing the suitable context for the interaction of the private sectors, the mayor of Isfahan said: “We are going to attract and develop the investment of Singaporean investors in Isfahan, and make benefits of their potentials for urban projects especially summit hall project of Isfahan.”
