Isfahan (IMNA) _ during a news conference which was held at end of the Cultural Week on May 5th, Iman Hojati spoke about the outstanding features of celebrating the Cultural Week of Isfahan. He said: “The most important aspect of celebrating the Cultural Week of Isfahan in the recent years is the cooperation between Isfahanologists and activists who have always been involved in selecting a day to glorify Isfahan.
He continued that according to a covenant, Isfahanologists elected November 22nd as Isfahan Day; however, in the recent years, Isfahan Municipality has chosen April 23rd to April 30th as Isfahan Week. He added that each of the groups had specific reasons for choosing this day; the new mayor of Isfahan decided to pay attention to the people’s potential in this regard; therefore, from now on, November 22nd has been selected as the Isfahan Day.
Referring to Sheikh Bahae’s birthday on April 23rd, Hojati stated: “ Considering that Isfahan has the potential of having a cultural week in April, which is one of the most beautiful months of the year, we have decided to inject hope, health, and vitality to people from April 23rd to April 29th, with the cooperation of the cultural, social, and sports organization of Isfahan municipality, the beautification organization of Isfahan municipality, all fifteen municipalities and the general department of communications of Isfahan.
