According to him, the restoration includes strengthening the wooden columns of the great porch, as one of the largest historical wooden structures in the country, IMNA reported.
Public relations of Isfahan Cultural Heritage organization quoted Allahyari as saying that six other restoration works are simultaneously underway in the palace. They include strengthening columns at 12-meter height above the floor, repairing the floor of the third story, restoration of wall ornaments, reinforcing the roof and repairing its ceiling’s beautiful mosaic patterns on wood.
He further said: after about a century, the fences surrounding Ali Qapu Place will be replaced by new unique ones inspired by Iranian traditional art.
