Press Exhibition, stage for communications

The Iranian First Vice President, Eshagh Jahangiri, stated: Press Exhibitions are stages for more communications especially regarding the country’s public affairs.

According to IMNA, press exhibition is an opportunity for print media to develop their potential.

Such exhibition serves as a place which brings together all the enthusiasts to hold talks with one another, IMNA reports.

The official continued: “media is the stage to improve morality rather than injustice”, “media should raise kindness, friendship, and national unity, not hatred and divergence”.

We are obliged to provide media society with safety

Media should not evade the issues under the shadow of law, Jahangiri said and added: undeveloped media will vastly impact the country; media and press development are therefore considered as key elements for the country’s improvement.

He elsewhere emphasized: press durability indicates the country’s growth, stressing: “today’s country is in decisive conditions”, “there are both opportunities and threats behind Iran which will be handled through proper understanding of the benefits, domestic capitals, and deployment of historical experiences”. The press, as a crucial mediator between the society and government, plays the key role in the process, he clarified.

Closing his remarks, Jahangiri called on people to cooperate with the government to make use of Iran’s highly-educated population and the full potential of women from different ethnic groups and religions in order to help their home country overcome all the ups and downs.
